Westfield Montgomery Mall will soon welcome a host of additions in June, including a Michelin-recommended restaurant serving soup dumplings.
Nan Xiang Soup Dumplings has been recommended by Michelin for nine consecutive years, from 2009 to 2017. Created in Flushing, New York, in 2006, the Southern Chinese restaurant now has 15 locations across the East Coast, including Montgomery Mall.

Nan Xiang Soup Dumplings staff use a family recipe and fresh ingredients to make all of their cuisine from scratch using centuries-old techniques, according to Nan Xiang Soup Dumplings’ website.
Prospective patrons can peruse the interactive menu of soup dumplings, where they can see each ingredient from chicken soup to crab meat mixed with pork shoulder.
Nan Xiang Soup Dumplings also offers all-day breakfast, stir-fries, fried rice, noodles, soups and traditional desserts. Chef-recommended dishes on the menu include pan-fried dumplings and wontons in spicy peanut sauce.
Located above Nan Xiang Soup Dumplings — across from AMC Theatre — is more Asian cuisine with Shiki Fusion, a Japanese-Thai fusion restaurant that serves premium seafood, organic herbs and spices.
Subway will soon return to the mall in place of the previous space occupied by J. Chow, which closed in 2023.
Wetzel’s Pretzels will arrive at the mall with an estimated opening in fall 2025. The popular chain is also scheduled to open a location at Westfield Wheaton this summer.
Retail additions include Garage Clothing — a Montreal-based women’s fashion brand — to replace the former Aéropostale location and Below Zero Swiss Science, a skin restoration company that uses cold therapy-based skin care.
Lastly, the traveling Flip Circus will visit Montgomery Mall from June 13 to 24 in a tent located in the parking lot near the Old Navy entrance. The family-created show boasts clowns, jugglers, dancers, acrobats and aerialists. Flip Circus is described by its organizers as a show with a “modern yet vintage” feel
