Let Nature Be Your Superpower: Cultivating Resilience and Wisdom in Everyday Life

Archeology Tour

Take a guided tour of the grounds to learn about the features and artifacts that inform our understanding of Rev. Josiah Henson’s life at the Riley Plantation. This 30-minute tour is appropriate for ages 6 and older. $3 | montgomeryparks.org

Hike to Parks Unknown: Seniors 55+ Beginner

November 9, 9:30-11 a.m. | Winding Creek Local Park

Join a park naturalist for an off-site hike and get to know a new park. This event is for beginner hikers with more emphasis on nature interpretation, including a one-hour hike less than 1.5 miles, followed by a social chat.
