It’s cherry blossom season! And here’s a secret: You don’t have to travel to Washington’s Tidal Basin to see the pink-and-white-flowered trees, as there are a ton of places right here in the county to appreciate these natural beauties.
Don’t know where to find the trees? Well thankfully, Montgomery Parks has an online tree finder map marked with where you can find cherry blossoms at local public parks.
Montgomery Parks is also hosting a Cherry Blossom Fun Run/Walk on April 2 from 9 – 11 a.m. at South Germantown Recreational Park. The event will celebrate the annual bloom with activities like arts and crafts, plus food and drinks for purchase.
