It’s cold out and lots of places are closed for the holidays. Here are four wintry events this week from lights festivals to a Rockville holiday bike ride.

 

LuminoCity Festival

Campfire 101

Have you ever wanted to learn how to make a campfire? Join a park naturalist and learn different ways to stack logs, different lighting techniques and fire safety. Bring a snack for roasting; for ages 8 and older.

Rockville Bike Party: Holiday Lights Ride

Join the Rockville Bike Advisory Committee for a holiday lights ride through town. Decorate your bike with festive lights and enjoy holiday displays around the neighborhood during a nine-mile loop, followed by an after-party.
