Conflict may be unavoidable at times, but it doesn’t have to be destructive. To help county residents better understand conflict and how to approach it in a productive manner, Montgomery County Public Libraries (MCPL) is offering series of free virtual workshops in partnership with the Conflict Resolution Center of Montgomery County called Peace by Peace.
“During these stressful times, communication can be challenging,” said MCPL director Anita Vassallo in a statement. “MCPL is so delighted to be able to offer these timely workshops offering residents helpful techniques to effectively engage in conversations with individuals with opposing views while maintaining positive relationships.”
The Peace by Peace series will feature four workshops geared toward specific situations and age groups and will offer tips on conflict resolution, communication and maintaining healthy relationships both at home and in the workplace.
