
Must-Sees: Annapolis is the state capital and the seat of Maryland’s government, with the Maryland State House offering guided tours to visitors about the state government’s history and its legislative process. Another historic landmark of note is the William Paca House and Garden, where the eponymous founding father once lived. Today, the house serves as a museum and model of what a Revolutionary War-era mansion looked like, with the gardens serving as a popular outdoor event space.
