Take photos at the major filming locations of “The Blair Witch Project,” hear the sounds of a saxophone and flamenco show to benefit breast cancer awareness or talk candidly about mental health at the Arts Barn.

Pull Up a Chair 2.0: A Conversation About Mental Health
Visit the Arts Barn to browse an exhibit curated by local artist Sandra Davis. The exhibit features 18 artist-designed chairs created to encourage discussion and reduce the stigma around mental health. Viewing hours Tues.-Sat. from 1-5 p.m.;

Pink and Black Gala Brasier con Propósito
Join community members to support a powerful cause this Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Brasier con Propósito’s third annual gala supports low-income women who have fought and overcome breast cancer. Take advantage of these two free fall concerts hosted by Montgomery Parks.
Oct. 6 will feature Marsha & the Positrons, a Washington, D.C.-based kids’ indie rock band that performs songs about science and how the world works. The Blair Witch Experience
Meet fellow fans of “The Blair Witch Project” and climb on the bus for an immersive experience touring the major filming locations of the movie. Each stop will include a recap of the significance of that spot to the filming and attendees will have photo opportunities.
