The season of gift-giving is almost upon us. Skip the crowded malls and check out these local holiday markets that offer more personalized gifts for yourself and your loved ones.

Annual Fall Craft Show

Nov. 8, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. | St. George Greek Orthodox Church in Bethesda

Metropolitan Community Club of Montgomery County’s 20th annual craft show features more than 25 vendors showcasing jewelry, pottery, unique gifts, sports cards, clothing, Greek specialties and more.

 

Annual Danish Christmas Bazaar

Nov. 8, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. | Saint Elizabeth’s Church in Rockville

Enjoy an authentic Danish lunch of open-faced sandwiches and a day of holiday shopping. Booths offer Danish Christmas decorations, Danish delicatessen, embroidery, crafts and Danish pastry and cookies, jewelry and imported goods.

 

Windridge Vineyards Holiday Market

Nov. 8–9, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. | Windridge Vineyards in Darnestown

Celebrate and support local makers and artisans as they offer their unique and beautiful wares at this annual holiday market.

 

BlackRock Center Holiday Market

Nov. 8, Dec. 13, 2-6 p.m. | BlackRock Center for the Arts in Germantown

Enjoy an outdoor holiday market with children’s choirs performing your favorite holiday song selections.

 

Museum Shop Holiday Market

Nov. 13–15, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. | Mansion at Strathmore in North Bethesda

This holiday market brings the area’s top museum shops and local artisans together for three days of spirited shopping. Each purchase supports nonprofit museums and independent artists in the community; suggested donation of $10.

 

Montgomery Potters Holiday Sale

Nov. 15–16, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. | Historic Garrett Park Town Hall

Find unique and handcrafted pottery pieces for your loved ones or find the perfect piece for your holiday table. Discover a wide variety of ceramics, from mugs and bowls to holiday ornaments, vases and sculptures.
